Type specimen: MCSNV i.B. 16, I.G. 24566, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Monte Bolca (MCSN Verona collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Pesciara Formation of Italy.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Monte Bolca (MCSN Verona collection)
