Sister taxa: Hagnocrinus bainbridgensis, Hagnocrinus crenus

Type specimen: FMNH UC 34535 (submature dorsal cup). Its type locality is St Mary's Rd and Little Saline Ck, which is in a Ludlow marine limestone in the Moccasin Springs Formation of Missouri.

Ecology: stationary upper-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Silurian of United States (2: Missouri collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
