Type specimen: BSP-1993-XVIII-2, a skeleton. Its type locality is Brunn Quarry layer 6, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal mudstone in Germany.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Brunn Quarry layer 6
