Type specimen: USNM 251858. Its type locality is V4FB, V4F traverse, Punta San Hipolito, Baja California, which is in an Alaunian basinal (siliceous) chert in the San Hipolito Formation of Mexico.
Ecology: passively mobile planktonic omnivore
Distribution:
• Triassic of Mexico (5 collections), Slovenia (2), Thailand (1)
Total: 8 collections each including a single occurrence
