Type specimen: PVSJ 845, a partial skeleton (vertebrae, partial ulna, ilium, partial hindlimb). Its type locality is Cancha de Bochas, Valle Pintado, which is in a Carnian terrestrial mudstone in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: planktonic suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Cancha de Bochas, Valle Pintado
