Belongs to Teleidosaurus according to Eudes-Deslongchamps 1867
Sister taxa: Teleidosaurus bathonicus, Teleidosaurus calvadosii
Type specimen: BMNH 32612 (cast of type), a mandible (anterior fragment of right mandible). Its type locality is Great Oolite, Caen, Normandy (BMNH Tesson collection), which is in a Bathonian marine horizon in the Great Oolite Formation of France.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Great Oolite, Caen, Normandy (BMNH Tesson collection)
