Type specimens:

  • Eucholoeops ingens: Neotype: MPM-PV 3401, a partial skeleton (Nearly complete, including isolated premaxillae, L zygomatic, and R C1; teeth present and well preserved & Nearly complete mandible, preserving all teeth & Near). Its type locality is Puesto Estancia La Costa Fossiliferous Level 7.2, which is in a Santacrucian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Santa Cruz Formation of Argentina.
