Sister taxa: Mongoliaeshna hadrens, Mongoliaeshna sinica

Type specimen: CNU-ODO-NN2011002, a hindwing. Its type locality is Liutiaogou Village, Dashuangmiao Town (CNU collection), which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Liutiaogou Village, Dashuangmiao Town (CNU collection)
