Type specimens:

  • Carodnia feruglioi: MGP-PD 29046 (cast=AMNH 27886), a tooth (left [lower] M3). Its type locality is Bajo de la Palangana (lower levels), which is in a Ypresian terrestrial sandstone in the Las Flores Formation of Argentina.
  • Ctalecarodnia cabrerai: MGP-PD 29030 (cast=AMNH 27897), a set of teeth (several probably associated tooth fragments). Its type locality is Bajo de la Palangana (lower levels), which is in a Ypresian terrestrial sandstone in the Las Flores Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: scansorial insectivore
