Type specimen: Holotype LACMIP 5892. Its type locality is LACMIP loc. 6130, Los Sauces Creek, Ventura County, which is in a Chattian offshore mudstone in the Rincon Formation of California.

Ecology: shallow infaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at LACMIP loc. 6130, Los Sauces Creek, Ventura County
