Type specimen: NMB H 17343, a shell. Its type locality is TU 1227, Río Amina [Gurabo Fm], which is in a Messinian shallow subtidal siliciclastic in the Gurabo Formation of the Dominican Republic.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
