Type specimen: NIGP 153697, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Huangbanjigou, Shangyuan Town, NIGP collection, which is in a Barremian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Yixian Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Huangbanjigou, Shangyuan Town, NIGP collection
