Type specimen: CPUC Lonq (R)/7, a skeleton. Its type locality is Cerro Rucañanco, which is in a Serravallian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/conglomerate in the Cura-Mallin Formation of Chile.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Cerro Rucañanco
