Type specimen: MNHN.F.BR-29-Ph, a mandible (Right dentary with P3–M3 and separate condyle). Its type locality is Mont Berru, which is in a Thanetian fluvial conglomerate in the Sables de Bracheux Formation of France.
Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore
Distribution:
• Paleocene of France (4 collections)
