Type specimen: CPC 7749, a valve (right valve). Its type locality is Ab45, Yuat River, which is in a Carnian marine shale in the Yuat Formation of Papua New Guinea.

Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder-suspension feeder

Distribution:

• Triassic of Papua New Guinea (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
