Type specimen: LPPB 11278, pmLPPB 1694, 1695, 1696., a wood. Its type locality is Puerto Visser, which is in a Danian terrestrial sandstone/sandstone in the Peñas Coloradas Formation of Argentina.

Distribution: found only at Puerto Visser
