Type specimen: UMNH VP 12842, a tooth (M3 in a maxillary fragment). Its type locality is UMNH VP Loc. 162, Cedar Canyon roadcut, which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian floodplain mudstone/sandstone in the Naturita Formation of Utah.

Ecology: scansorial omnivore
