Type specimens:

  • Hutchemys rememdium: YPM PU 16795, a skeleton. Its type locality is Medicine Rocks Site 1, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial sandstone in the Fort Union Formation of Montana.
  • Plastomenoides lamberti: YPM (PU) 16795, a partial skeleton (plastron and carapace+limbs and girdle). Its type locality is Traweek Ranch, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial sandstone in the Tongue River Formation of Montana.

Ecology: aquatic omnivore

Distribution:

• Paleocene of United States (2: Montana, Wyoming collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
