Sister taxa: Langdaia bullabalvanyensis, Langdaia hornei, Langdaia laolongdongensis, Langdaia suboblonga
Type specimen: SUT-09-1457, a carapace. Its type locality is 08LB01-1, Khao Somphot, Nakhon Sawan-Lopburi, which is in a Capitanian carbonate wackestone in the Tak Fa Formation of Thailand.
