Type specimen: NMB Sh 110, a partial skeleton (a single articulated skull- and neckless specimen). Its type locality is Blumenberg quarry, Eichstätt (Peter Katschmekat collection, 1998), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Blumenberg quarry, Eichstätt (Peter Katschmekat collection, 1998)
