Type specimens:

  • Cyamodus muensteri: BSP AS VII 1210, a partial skull. Its type locality is Bindlacher Berg, which is in an Illyrian marine horizon in the Meissner Formation of Germany.
  • Cyamodus laticeps: Its type locality is Near Bayreuth, which is in a Triassic marine horizon in Germany.

Distribution:

• Triassic of Germany (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
