Type specimen: UCMP151416, an exoskeleton (tegmen and partial thorax). Its type locality is Buffalo Canyon, which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine shale in the Buffalo Canyon Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling grazer-herbivore
Distribution: found only at Buffalo Canyon
