Sister taxon: Halonodon luxembourgensis
Type specimen: IRSNB P.4529 (tooth plate). Its type locality is Quarry on the south side Etalle-Vitron road, which is in a Semicostatum marine limestone in the Gréseux de Florenville Formation of Belgium.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Quarry on the south side Etalle-Vitron road
