Sister taxon: Maledictosuchus nuyivijanan
Type specimen: MPZ 2001/130a, 2001/130b, a skull (Almost complete skull and part of the lower jaw + three vertebrae). Its type locality is Barranco de la Paridera, which is in a Callovian shallow subtidal wackestone/marl in the Ágreda Formation of Spain.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Barranco de la Paridera
