Type specimen: CNU-ODO-NN2012004, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (CNU 2012 collection)
