Type specimen: Poinar H-10-178-A, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.

Distribution: found only at Dominican amber (Poinar coll)
