Type specimen: NIGPAS 89JH1002-2, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Hangxia valley, 20 km WWS from Yumen city, which is in an Albian/Albian lacustrine - large shale in the Zhonggou Formation of China.
Ecology: fast-moving arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Hangxia valley, 20 km WWS from Yumen city
