Type specimen: Beijing Museum of Natural History 80116, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum)
