Type specimen: PIMUZ A/I 2847, a partial skull. Its type locality is summit of Strel, Kanton Graubünden, which is in a Fassanian marine horizon in the Prosanto Formation of Switzerland.

Ecology: nektobenthic durophage

Distribution: found only at summit of Strel, Kanton Graubünden
