Type specimen: IVPP V8304, a partial skull (Incomplete skull). Its type locality is Huangpu, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Wanghudun Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Huangpu
