Type specimen: IVPP V 13586, a maxilla (Right upper jaw). Its type locality is Lianhuatang Southeast, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial horizon in the Wanghudun Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Lianhuatang Southeast
