Type specimen: SMNS 26993, a calyx. Its type locality is Zell, J. Fischer quarry, epsilon II-4 (SMNS collection), which is in a Falciferum marine shale in the Posidonia Shale Formation of Germany.
Ecology: facultatively mobile intermediate-level epifaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Zell, J. Fischer quarry, epsilon II-4 (SMNS collection)
