Type specimen: NHMUK In.24363/In.64098, a tegmen (tegmen). Its type locality is Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bouldnor Formation of the United Kingdom.

Distribution: found only at Bembridge Marls (Hooley coll)
