Type specimen: WAM 11.68, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Locality 09. Windy Knolls, Bugle Gap, 1 km south of Waggon Pass, which is in a Frasnian perireef or subreef limestone in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia.

Distribution:
