Sister taxa: Palpebralina minor, Palpebralina pseudopalpebralis

Type specimen: WAM 11.123, a cephalon/head. Its type locality is Locality 05. Windy Knolls, Bugle Gap, 1 km south of Waggon Pass, which is in a Frasnian perireef or subreef limestone in the Virgin Hills Formation of Australia.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder

Distribution: found only at Locality 05. Windy Knolls, Bugle Gap, 1 km south of Waggon Pass
