Type specimen: PIN 3064/1911, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 3064, bed 31), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large marl/siltstone in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.

Distribution: found only at Baissa (PIN collection 3064, bed 31)
