Type specimen: USNM 248905. Its type locality is USGS M533, Big Canyon, which is in a Bithynian basinal (carbonate) limestone/siliciclastic in the Prida Formation of Nevada.

• Triassic of Canada (5: British Columbia collections), United States (8: Nevada)

Total: 13 collections each including a single occurrence
