Type specimen: IVPP V4068, a partial skeleton (Incomplete skull and some postcranial remains). Its type locality is Wangwu, Jiyuan, which is in an Anisian terrestrial horizon in the Ermaying Formation of China.

Distribution: found only at Wangwu, Jiyuan
