Type specimen: VPL/JU/KM/20, a tooth (an isolated left upper premolar). Its type locality is Paikasigudem village, which is in a Toarcian/Aalenian terrestrial siltstone/sandstone in the Kota Formation of India.
Ecology: arboreal herbivore
Distribution: found only at Paikasigudem village
