Sister taxa: Kokenella buchi, Kokenella cornu, Kokenella costata, Kokenella laczkoi, Kokenella laubei, Kokenella timorensis
Type specimen: NHMW 1899/V/21. Its type locality is St. Cassian (Wiener Hofsmuseums coll), which is in a Julian carbonate limestone in the Cassian Formation of Italy.
Ecology: epifaunal detritivore
Distribution: found only at St. Cassian (Wiener Hofsmuseums coll)
