Belongs to Kindlella according to E. Olempska and J. Blaszyk 1996
Sister taxa: Kindlella centrinoda, Kindlella fissiloba, Kindlella minuta, Kindlella mostleri
Type specimen: ZPAL O.XXVI/3. Its type locality is Ahlstrandodden section A-5a, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine chert in the Kapp Starostin Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.
