Type specimen: YPM 25588, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Florissant (Twenhofel collection, University of Kansas), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in Colorado.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Distribution: found only at Florissant (Twenhofel collection, University of Kansas)
