Sister taxon: Pronepos fossilis
Type specimen: UCMP 13012, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is UCMP B-7457, Santa Catarina, Simojovel region, which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.
Ecology:
Distribution: found only at UCMP B-7457, Santa Catarina, Simojovel region
