Sister taxon: Metapalaeoneilo baltica
Type specimen: JK 14959, a shell (Internal mould of the left valve). Its type locality is Temporary outcrop just northwest of Běchovice, which is in a Hirnantian transition zone/lower shoreface shale in the Kosov Formation of the Czech Republic.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal deposit feeder
Distribution: found only at Temporary outcrop just northwest of Běchovice
