Type specimen: GP/1T 1683, a tegmen. Its type locality is Crato (IGC-USP collection), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large carbonate in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: fast-moving ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Crato (IGC-USP collection)
