Type specimen: NIGP154244, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.

Ecology:

Distribution: found only at Daohugou (NIGP collection)
