Type specimen: UMIP 17002-1. Its type locality is MI 8603, Dunlap Canyon, Pilot Mountains, which is in a Lacian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Luning Formation of Nevada.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal microcarnivore-photosymbiotic
