Sister taxon: Magnasupplephlebia kallweita
Type specimen: Ansorge LDA 424, a forewing. Its type locality is Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Ansorge coll), which is in a Toarcian offshore claystone in Germany.
Ecology: fast-moving volant carnivore-insectivore
Distribution: found only at Dobbertin, Mecklenburg (Ansorge coll)
