Type specimen: PIN 3791/1220, an exoskeleton (forewing, head, and thorax). Its type locality is Bakhar, outcrop 208/4 (PIN collection 3791), which is in a Bajocian/Bathonian lacustrine claystone in the Bakhar Formation of Mongolia.
Distribution: found only at Bakhar, outcrop 208/4 (PIN collection 3791)
