Type specimen: PIN 1847/545, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Karabon Creek, Nerchinskiy Zavod district (PIN collection 1847), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Gidarinskaya Formation of the Russian Federation.
